About the Resource Center The Skillman Center’s Resource Center has a variety of additional resources on this topic and many others related to urban children, youth and families. Staff members are available to assist you in finding books, videos, other material and Internet resources. All materials can be borrowed for two weeks and there is no fee for this service. The
Resource Center is located in the Skillman Building at 100 E. Palmer,
Detroit (on the corner of John R and Palmer).
The Center is open from 8:00 am – 4:30 pm, Monday through
